Greetings to you all!
I would like to use this introductory post to provide insight on what this newsletter will go into detail about.
Over the following posts, I would like to address my personal history of investing and trading, why I decided to start up this newsletter and what I ultimately will be aiming to achieve on this platform.
I would also like to highlight that a subscription to this newsletter is FREE because I am not looking to profit from this newsletter. I would love to see my fellow peers become more financially educated and assist them in trading and investing in stock markets.
Although I will be mainly focusing on two stock exchanges, the London Stock Exchange and the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange, the knowledge you will obtain from this newsletter can be used when purchasing shares of companies listed on other stock exchanges. The reason why I chose these stock exchanges is for two reasons. Firstly, I mostly follow these stock exchanges due to my nationality and where I am currently studying for university. Secondly, these stock exchanges are distinctly different in the sense that the London Stock Exchange is based in a developed or ‘first-world’ country whereas the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange is based in a developing or ‘third-world’ country. Therefore, what you learn about LSE-listed companies may be applicable to NYSE, NASDAQ or ASX companies whilst what you learn about ZSE companies may be applicable to listed companies in developing countries. This will hopefully provide you with a diversity of stock-picking and analytical skills of companies based in a variety of countries.
I look forward to your engagement and I hope you feel more confident and prepared about investing.
Kind regards,
Nqobani Ndebele
Looking forward to it!
